Give vital support to children who have lost everything.
Their parents, their home, their safety — let’s give them back the hope, the presence and the love they need.
Protecting orphans
Caring for an orphan is not just about feeding them, clothing them or sending them to school. Every child we take in arrives with their own story, their own wounds and, often, the scars of what they have been through. Many have seen their parents die before their eyes, have lived with insecurity and carry within them the fear of being abandoned once again.
Our role is also to rebuild a sense of security. Through a regular presence and long-term support, we want to offer them a stable, reassuring and protective environment. Being there today — and above all showing them that we will still be there tomorrow — helps them find a measure of peace again and, most importantly, start looking to the future once more.

467 orphans in our care today.
Why Goma?
Goma has been scarred by decades of armed conflict, violence and population displacement. Children are the first victims: the loss of their parents, separation from their families, being forced out of school, malnutrition and trauma. In 2025, UNICEF reported a dramatic rise in grave violations committed against children in Goma.
Why Chad?
In Chad, growing up without parents often means facing deep vulnerability from early childhood. In a country marked by poverty, food insecurity and poor access to water, healthcare and education, orphans are among the first to suffer the consequences. Protecting an orphan in Chad is therefore about far more than meeting an immediate need: it means giving them a safe, caring environment, allowing them to grow up with dignity and giving them the means to build their future.
Why Sudan?
In Darfur, years of conflict have turned the lives of millions of families upside down. In 2026, killings and forced displacement continue to expose children to hunger, disease, disrupted schooling and grave danger. In this context, orphans are the most vulnerable of all. Protecting an orphan in Darfur means offering far more than material help: it means giving them back a safe environment, meeting their essential needs and allowing them, despite the war, to find hope for the future again.
